So . . . after you've attended the "Gardening with Native Plants" class on 4/27, join Klamath Basin Chapter members on Sunday, April 28th at 9 am (to ??) for a work day in the native plant beds at the Klamath County Museum, 1451 Main Street, Klamath Falls.
The goal is weed reduction and some touch-up of the landscaping (pruning, thinning).
Volunteers are invited to help. This is an opportunity to learn some of the native plants common to the Upper Klamath Basin from Chapter members.
Our on again / off again spring weather might be 'off' (a slight chance of showers then partly sunny, high of 58). Volunteers should bring appropriate outerwear for varied weather (hat, gloves) water, and a lunch. Also bring your favorite garden tools for grubbing, clipping, trimming, weeding, raking, bagging, and hauling. Consider a long-sleeve shirt to protect your arms.
Help us send out "Native Plant Appreciation Month" by sprucing up the native plant beds at the Museum!
