Native Plant Garden Tour - led by Todd Kepple

Native Plant Garden Tour sponsored by the Klamath County Museum & the Klamath Basin Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Oregon is open to everyone

Supplies: Bring sun screen and/or a hat. You may also want to bring water.

Meeting Place: 1451 Main Street on the corner of Spring Street in downtown Klamath Falls 

What to Expect: A tour of the native plant garden at the Klamath County Museum will highlight locally indigenous plants that can be used in landscaping. More than 150 Klamath natives are growing Klamath County Museumat the museum.

An hour-long walk around the grounds of the Klamath County Museum will examine some of the flowers, grasses, shrubs and trees in the naturescape gardens. Flowers typically in bloom in late June at the museum include sulfur buckwheat, sticky purple geranium, western wallflower and grand collomia.

Physical Requirements: Easy walking on sidewalks. Dress for the weather.
